Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club is a lighthearted mystery game featuring the Peanuts crew, and as of March 17, 2026, it’s available as a Deluxe Edition for Nintendo Switch, 2-player.
While the NS2 version of Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club is cute and cozy, it’s a game that’s only going to appeal to a niche group of players. You’ll find Kyusai’s full, spoiler-free review of Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club Deluxe Edition below, completed on the Nintendo Switch 2.
Simple, cozy fun

In Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club, players are placed in the shoes – or rather, paws – of the ever-lovable Snoopy, tasked with solving hometown mysteries and figuring out simple puzzles with the help of the Peanuts roster.
Fan-favorite characters like Charlie Brown, Peppermint Patty, and Linus van Pelt make an appearance in this game, with Charlie Brown working alongside Snoopy to get to the bottom of each chapter’s main mystery.
Solving a mystery in the game revolves around uncovering sparkling clues and tracking footprints, all achieved with Snoopy’s detective outfit. Snoopy has a number of outfits in the game, which act as an ability wheel of sorts. Snoopy can dig up treasure and hidden items, or blow away piles of leaves.
There are four chapters in the game overall, with a main mystery for each, and a handful of mini-games as well. Players will be able to race soapbox cars, kick footballs, and hit baseballs, adding more variety to the mix.

The Deluxe Edition features a couple of new mini-games on top of the existing roster, but it’s largely a performance enhancement that improves visual quality on the Nintendo Switch 2.
Something that I loved about Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club is the variety of collectables scattered around the map. You’ll be able to uncover comic strips while playing through the game’s chapters, then read the comics at the red letterboxes, getting a glimpse of classic moments in the Peanuts world.
Fetch quest city

The gameplay loop in Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club is simple, and it felt meditative to play through. There aren’t any intense mini-games or difficult puzzles, just chilled mini-games, chats with characters, and fetch quests.
This style of play will likely be divisive for some players, though. Throughout the chapters, you’ll be running around the map, finding items and bringing them to characters who’ll then send you to pick up another item or find another character.
While I’m not opposed to fetch quests by any means – I’m a big World of Warcraft geek, after all – I did feel like some of the chapters padded out their runtime by getting me to run from A to B repeatedly. Some more variety in the gameplay would’ve made this a more enjoyable experience.

That said, dedicated Peanuts fans will likely get a kick out of playing this Deluxe Edition, thanks to the familiar cast of characters and cozy aesthetic.
Visually, the game looked great, with a cartoonish art style and interface. The character models looked great – I particularly loved seeing Snoopy’s different outfits and special abilities – and the music was charming, too.
Performance-wise, Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club looked solid, offering a smooth experience overall. I didn’t notice any visual quirks or performance issues during my time with the game, and found the interface to be intuitive overall.
As a whole, Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club’s Deluxe Edition is worth checking out if you’re a diehard Peanuts fan looking for a cozy gaming experience. If you’re a mystery game fan who prefers a more hands-on style of play, though, it may not be the best fit for your playstyle.
