Help, I can’t stop playing the PowerWash Simulator 2 Star Wars pack

If you’ve not played PowerWash Simulator 2 before, you’re missing out – particularly if you’re a Star Wars lover. The base game is satisfying, with plenty of finely-tuned power washing challenges to soothe your brain, but the Star Wars pack takes this to a new level.

The galactic DLC pack is a feast for the senses, letting players scrub through and polish iconic scenes from a galaxy far, far away. Here are Kyusai’s first impressions of the PowerWash Simulator 2 Star Wars DLC pack.

Meditative mechanics 

PowerWash Simulator 2 came out on October 23, 2025, created by the folks at FuturLab as a successor to the original 2022 title.

The game name tells you everything you need to know if you’re unfamiliar; you have a power washer, and you’ll be cleaning things within an inch of their life. It’s a simple premise on the surface, but incredibly moreish once you get into playing it. 

There’s been an Adventure Time DLC pack for PowerWash Simulator 2 since its launch, but I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that the Star Wars pack is the game’s most anxiously awaited DLC pack yet. 

Courtesy of the game team and Dead Good PR, I got the chance to check out PowerWash Simulator 2’s spin on Star Wars for the first time at a special event on June 30, 2026 – taking place in Madame Tussauds, no less – playing the game while surrounded by figures from the iconic series.

I hadn’t played PowerWash Simulator 2 before heading to the event, but I’ve been watching Star Wars movies since I was a kid, so I had high hopes for the DLC pack and what it might have to offer. Thankfully, both the game and the pack exceeded my expectations; it’s a delight to play.

Blending up the events of A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi, the Star Wars pack features some of the most iconic vehicles and scenes from the franchise. 

I had wondered how the pack would encapsulate the style of these movies without losing the PowerWash Simulator 2 art style, but the aesthetic remained consistent and vibrant throughout. 

Every snippet was instantly recognisable, but the game’s style stayed consistent, too — the FuturLab team even designed their own droid called P0-W2 for the occasion, which was fantastic to see. 

Polished and premium

As someone who hadn’t played PowerWash Simulator 2 before checking out this pack, I had wondered what the introductory experience would be like getting into a DLC pack instead of the standard introduction. Simulator games can sometimes be confusing off the jump, with a slew of controls and precise movements to perfect. 

Thankfully, the controls for PowerWash Simulator 2 are intuitive and didn’t take me long to get the hang of at

all. I started with the X-Wing job (shown above), and after a little button mashing, I had the controls down and could enjoy the cleaning process.

The X-Wing job was my favourite out of the Star Wars pack; the ship is utterly iconic, and the PowerWash Simulator 2 team managed to encapsulate its aesthetic perfectly. Being able to clean every panel and segment of the X-Wing was incredibly enjoyable. 

Something that stood out to me with this DLC pack was how responsive the controls and tools felt. Clearing dirt and grime felt tactile and rewarding. 

While the aesthetics were a highlight for me with the PowerWash Simulator 2 Star Wars pack — the jobs were well-designed and looked great — the soundscape felt like the star of the show. 

This is a game that I’d recommend experiencing with headphones if possible. The music was appropriately celestial, and the sound design felt subtly polished; every action had a suitably satisfying sound to match. 

Performance-wise, I didn’t encounter any major issues with the Star Wars DLC pack. It looked good and ran smoothly, playing nicely with a controller. The interface was clean, despite there being a fair amount of information in the menus. 

Whether you’re a Star Wars geek or a simulator game lover, the PowerWash Simulator 2 Star Wars pack is well worth your time. There’s a good amount of content on offer and a well-rounded aesthetic, which is especially joyful if you’re a fan of the Star Wars franchise.

If you’ve never played PowerWash Simulator 2 before, I’d recommend checking it out. I found the process of getting into the game to be smooth and enjoyable, with an intuitive control system.
