The Logitech G x Herman Miller Embody, the chair that makes you sit how it wants; it’s not just a chair but a journey that you may not have been expecting. If you buy this chair, you may doubt your choice at first, but you may learn to learn what it does for you in the end, just not what it does to your bank account.
The Good

Right, let’s be honest, this is a chair. It doesn’t have cupholders, it doesn’t do your work for you, it won’t make you good at video games, but it will force you to have better posture. Give you an extremely comfortable base for those long sitting sessions after a brief breaking-in period.
This beast of a chair is built like an absolute tank. It arrives fully assembled, which is the ultimate convenience I have not seen from any other brand. This truly sets it apart from the pack; it’s big enough yet compact enough to fit in any space and serve any need
The back design is incredible, as it forms to your back while maintaining good posture. I wasn’t sure of it at first, as it was uncomfortable and rigid, but I just needed to get to know the chair and them me. After about 2 weeks, it was the most comfortable thing I have ever sat in. Thanks to their backfit technology, where ist designed to mimic a human spine.
The Bad

The elephant in the room: the price. We’ve all seen our favorite streamers sit in the Logitech G x Embody Herman Miller and love it, but can the average person justify this cost? It’s unlikely.
The Logitech G x Herman Miller Embody Gaming Chair retails for $ 2,255 / £ 1,715. For comparison, I have a 2010 Lexus IS 250 Sport, and I got that for only a few hundred dollars more. I could also buy three separate SecretLab Titan Evo chairs for that price, with some cash left over. This is always going to be the biggest negative when you’re looking at chairs for this price point.
As mentioned earlier, I did not get along with this chair at the start. It was hard and uncomfortable. It didn’t feel right to sit in, so if you’re expecting a flawless, comfortable chair right out the gate, this probably isn’t the chair for you. However, give it some time, and you will change your mind, as I did on this point.
I will say, however, that it sorely lacks a headrest. At this price point, I’m disappointed that one wasn’t included, but it is an optional extra you can get called the Atlas for over $200.
How does the Embody compare to the competition?

To put it plainly, the Logitech G X Embody Gaming chair is in a league of its own; there is no comparison in terms of comfort, versatility, and overall experience. When sitting on my Secret Lab Titan Evo, it doesn’t feel the same. Is it worth the over $1,000 price difference? I’m not sure. Unless you have more money than you know what to do with, pretty much every other luxury gaming chair is going to win out based purely on this.
Ultimately, the only other gaming chair that comes close is the Mavix M9, and it even has a headrest. Coming in at over $1,000 cheaper, it seems we’re just paying for the Herman Miller brand at this point. Is the status symbol worth that much to you?
