Complete The War Within campaign list: Finish up before WoW Midnight

Coming out on August 26, 2024, The War Within is the first entry in The Worldsoul Saga. The expansion sets the tone for Midnight’s void-infused storyline nicely.

All quests in World of Warcraft The War Within

The main storyline in The War Within has multiple chapters and key locations, with a unique storyline for every critical area of the map.

I haven’t included the prelude chapter Hunt for the Harbinger, but if you’re looking to start it, the starting object is Khadgar’s Summons, found in each faction’s capital city.

Visions of Azeroth

The first section of the TWW campaign is the Visions of Azeroth questline is a level 68-70 quest chain with twelve links.

Khaz Algar

The main campaign for The War Within takes place across Khaz Algar, with meta-achievements and mini campaigns for each zone.

There are four key areas of the map, each with three individual story segments to work through.

If you want to access the titular campaign for the expansion, you need to complete all of these quests and get to level 80 in the process. 

The War Within

The War Within’s max level campaign requires the Khaz Algar campaign to be completed fully, and for your character to hit level four Renown with every Khaz Algar faction. 

Starting this campaign requires speaking to Moira Thaurissan on the Isle of Dorn and picking up the quest Surface Bound.

This five-chapter, max level campaign takes time, but it’s worth it as a lore lover, and it’ll take you closer to smaller achievements like unlocking the Earthen Allied Race. 

“A Song of Secrets” Siren Isle campaign

While the Siren Isle zone might seem small, it has a detailed campaign, introduced in patch 11.0.7 to offer more content for max level players.

The Undermine zone is vibrant and chaotic, and its max level campaign keeps true to this tone. To start the six-chapter campaign, find Renzik “The Shiv” in Dornogal’s Foundation Hall.
